Description
The Lathe Operator will support complex turning operations for precision ball screw manufacturing by programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and turning centers; developing machining processes; interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models; compensating for dimensional changes from outside processing; establishing workholding and tooling strategies; performing inspections; troubleshooting machining and quality issues; collaborating with engineering and quality teams; maintaining process documentation; mentoring junior machinists; and supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. The role requires at least five years of advanced CNC turning experience in precision manufacturing, along with CNC programming, process development, blueprint reading, GD&T, material movement, and precision inspection knowledge.
