Description

Blue Origin is hiring a hands-on Launch & Test Engineer for its Orbital Launch Site in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The role supports New Glenn launch infrastructure and test operations by designing, constructing, operating, maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting ground support equipment and test-enabling hardware across avionics, cryogenic, fluid, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and software systems. Responsibilities include developing and executing test procedures, operating real-time consoles during integrated propulsion and static hotfire tests, reviewing test data, conducting hazard analyses, maintaining documentation and configuration, supporting root-cause investigations and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires an engineering bachelor’s degree, avionics and test-operations experience, hands-on HIL/HITL and EGSE experience, console anomaly-response capability, and eligibility under U.S. export-control requirements. Shifts may be day or evening weekdays or weekends, with up to 25% travel and relocation available.
