Description
The Launch Quality Engineer supports new product introductions in an EMS environment by assessing new product designs for manufacturability, inspection feasibility, customer requirements, process capability, and first-article readiness. The role develops and executes inspection criteria, gaging and advanced inspection tooling plans, DHR and first-article packages, complaint investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and quality documentation through launch and launch+1. It requires a university degree or extensive practical knowledge, at least four years of related experience, and knowledge of statistical and analytical methods, manufacturing documentation, FDA-regulated environments, and Lean principles.
