Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Launch Safety Operations Software Engineering Intern in Auckland, New Zealand, to develop software tools for launch safety, range surveillance, and flight safety. The intern will automate processes, integrate sensors and external data feeds into a common operating picture, perform software testing and verification, maintain Jira work tickets, and collaborate across engineering teams. Candidates must be pursuing or have recently completed a relevant degree and have strong C++ and Python skills plus Git and issue-tracking experience. The internship starts in November 2026, with applications due by 28 August 2026.
