Description
The Laundry Aide retrieves and sorts residents’ personal laundry and facility linens, then loads, operates, and unloads washers and dryers and operates an ironer for sheets, pillowcases, and table linens. The role requires occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistive devices and frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, and requires alternating weekends and holidays. No prior experience or training is required, and the position is full time, non-exempt, and union. The posting offers an up to $1,000 sign-on bonus, a second-shift differential of $1.75 per hour, and a weekend premium of $2.00 per hour.
