Description
The Laundry Aide supports daily laundry operations in a residential facility by sorting, washing, drying, folding, counting, distributing, and maintaining clean linen and garments. The role also cleans and disinfects laundry areas, follows infection-control and safety procedures, coordinates with nursing staff, reports equipment issues and accidents, and maintains resident confidentiality. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have an eighth-grade education, make independent decisions, interact tactfully with residents and others, and be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
