Description
The Laundry Manager is responsible for inventorying uniforms, linens, and laundry supplies; operating and monitoring washing, dry-cleaning, and drying equipment; inspecting linens; reporting equipment, maintenance, and safety issues; and training employees on laundry procedures and safety. The role also assists with hiring, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, and employee motivation, while maintaining safety, quality, confidentiality, and company-asset standards. A high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least one year of related work and supervisory experience are preferred.
