Description
The Laundry Worker processes hotel linens by sorting, weighing, loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding, storing, and cleaning laundry equipment and areas. The role also assists with inventories, responds to guest requests, maintains a clean and organized work area, and reports mechanical or hazardous conditions. It requires physical ability to stand for up to seven hours, lift up to 50 pounds, operate laundry and cleaning equipment, communicate with guests and team members, and follow safety procedures. A high school education or equivalent and six months of laundry, housekeeping, or janitorial experience are preferred.
