Description
The Laundry Technician coordinates and performs daily laundry operations for Pennington County correctional and care facilities, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, inventorying, and distributing clothing, bedding, linens, and related supplies. The role also trains and supervises inmate, client, or detainee workers, maintains inventory and supply records, supports kitchen stocking, operates laundry equipment and vehicles, and follows infection-control, sanitation, chemical-handling, and security procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with regular travel between assigned facilities.
