SOVRA is hiring a Public Contract Lawyer in Laval, Quebec, working hybrid with one office day per week. Reporting to the Vice President, Legal Products, the role advises public and municipal organizations on public contracts, drafts legal opinions, models tender and contract documents, develops reusable clause networks, contributes to legal publications and training, and monitors legislative and regulatory changes. Candidates must be members of the Quebec Bar or the Chambre des notaires du Québec, have 2 to 4 years of commercial or contract law experience, speak excellent French, and have an interest in legal technology; public-sector experience is preferred. The employer does not sponsor a work visa or transfer.
