Description
The Layout Inspector will perform dimensional inspections of structural castings in the Whitehall Casting Operation, using Coordinate Measuring Machines, blue light scan machines, and handheld measurement equipment. The role includes developing and modifying inspection programs, preparing and verifying First Article Inspection Reports, completing custom engineering inspections, calibrating equipment, and maintaining tooling and calibration records. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of post-high-school work experience or six months of manufacturing experience, blueprint and GD&T knowledge, and basic metrology equipment operation. Microsoft Office, CAD, PC-DMIS, GOM/ATOS, and advanced geometry and trigonometry experience are preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available.
