Description
Assystem is hiring a Layout Integration Engineer for its Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit. Reporting to the Layout Engineering Manager, the role owns layout development for assigned systems, buildings, or plant areas across fusion, small modular reactor, advanced modular reactor, and other nuclear programmes. Responsibilities include developing equipment, piping, cable tray, access, and maintenance layouts; interpreting PFDs and P&IDs; managing design assumptions and interfaces; using 3D CAD/BIM tools; leading piping routing and multidisciplinary reviews; resolving clashes; and supporting modularisation, construction, and maintainability assessments. The role requires a degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline, relevant plant or multidisciplinary engineering experience, CAD/BIM and Navisworks experience, and SC clearance or the ability to achieve it.
