Eaton is hiring a Layout Technician - 2nd Shift for its Troy, Illinois facility. The role operates sheet metal fabrication machines, reads shop orders and engineering drawings, performs quality checks, and uses calibration equipment. The position works Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with overtime potentially mandatory, and pays $25.44 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential, with progression to $27.40 after 12 months. Applicants need at least one year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment; prior blueprint-reading, calibration-equipment, and SAP experience are preferred.
