Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide basic nursing care to obstetric, postpartum, and nursery patients from admission through discharge and perform non-nursing duties such as cleaning and stocking rooms, clerical work, answering phones, and relaying messages. The role is supervised by nurses, the Charge Nurse, and the nurse manager. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, up to 1 year of job-related experience, and a current active Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant certificate; BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
