Description
New Chapter is hiring a Lead Accountant to provide subject-matter expertise in accounting functions and help modernize accounting processes. The role supports monthly financial closings and reporting for two legal entities, reconciles sub-ledgers and balance-sheet accounts, processes accounting documents and journal entries, contributes to audits and user acceptance testing, and coordinates training and process documentation. The position requires at least three years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and multi-state sales and use tax filings, with an accounting degree preferred and ERP experience strongly preferred.
