Very Big Things is hiring a Lead AI Engineer to architect and build an internal workflow automation platform and then deploy it into enterprise customer environments across the United States. The role combines platform foundation work with customer discovery, rapid solution prototyping, AI-enhanced automation, and technical leadership in client engagements. It requires 7+ years of production software experience, 2+ years of Generative AI experience, strong TypeScript/JavaScript and modern-stack expertise, LLM-assisted development knowledge, security and compliance understanding, and cloud/DevOps familiarity.
