Lab25 is seeking a Lead AI Engineer & Chapter Owner to join their expanding Data & AI Chapter. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in both technical contributions to challenging projects and making architecture decisions, while also leading the chapter's professional design, strategic direction, and setting standards across quality, methodology, and impact. This role involves owning the professional design and strategic direction of the Data & AI Chapter, developing Chapter members, acting as a sparring partner for other leads, and managing the Chapter’s knowledge base. Additionally, the engineer will focus on designing and reviewing modular agent systems, establishing standards for context engineering and AI pipelines, making architecture decisions for retrieval systems, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving composable agent development.
