Description
Airwallex is hiring an Engineering Lead for its Generative AI team to own the technical design, execution, and people leadership of the Kai engineering team. The role is based in Singapore and involves leading AI, backend, and frontend engineers; defining agent orchestration, retrieval, tooling, identity, observability, evaluation, and safety architectures; delivering production-grade AI features; establishing evaluation and release disciplines; building resilient and scalable systems; and partnering with Product, Design, Data, Security, and other teams. Candidates need at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 2 years leading or formally mentoring engineers, plus hands-on experience with scalable agentic architecture and backend or distributed systems.
