Description
The Lead, AI/Machine Learning Engineer will join OMERS’s AI Delivery and Innovation team to design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including LLM applications, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and traditional machine learning models. The role covers MLOps/LLMOps/GenAIOps, enterprise AI platforms, vector databases, applied research, production delivery, AI governance, and mentoring. It requires at least three years of software engineering experience, including two years building and deploying production AI/ML or Generative AI solutions, along with expertise in LLMs, machine learning, MLOps, cloud platforms, SQL, and modern data platforms. The position follows a flexible hybrid guideline requiring four days per week in the office and offers an expected annual salary of $86,000 to $130,000.
