Description
The Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician oversees aircraft maintenance work performed by technicians, mechanics, and apprentices, ensuring compliance with company policies and FAA regulations. The role supervises crew performance, quality, productivity, budgets, safety, records, training, tool accountability, and maintenance-area housekeeping, while coordinating with maintenance supervisors and completing required data entries. The position requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification, a high school diploma or GED, a valid United States driver’s license, English communication skills, and the ability to perform strenuous physical work in hangar, office, shop, or open-air line-maintenance environments.
