Description
Bumble is hiring an Android Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure application features using GCP services. The role owns complex individual product features through the full software development lifecycle, collaborates with product, design, and engineering teams, evaluates AI development tools, leads architecture discussions, and mentors junior engineers. Candidates need 7+ years of professional Android experience, strong Kotlin and modern Android development skills, experience with Jetpack Compose or XML-based views, Android architecture, platform fundamentals, networked APIs, and end-to-end feature ownership. The role is based in Austin with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite work Monday through Wednesday, and visa sponsorship is not available.
