L3Harris is hiring a Lead, Artificial Intelligence to advance Mission Networks AI initiatives in secure, scalable telecommunications and information-management systems for Air Traffic Management and surveillance. The role leads AI delivery from concept through deployment and continuous improvement, defines architecture and standards, advises teams on technology and risk, establishes responsible-AI governance, and mentors engineers and business stakeholders. It requires a bachelor’s degree with at least nine years of relevant experience or a graduate degree with at least seven years, plus experience with machine learning, LLMs, RAG, AI solutions, and programming and database libraries. The position is based in Melbourne, Florida, on a 9/80 schedule, and requires the ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust or Top-Secret clearance.
