Description
The Lead Automation Engineer will lead the design, implementation, optimization, and data analysis of automated order fulfillment systems in distribution centers. The role coordinates with vendors, system integrators, functional stakeholders, and engineers; develops RFQs and requirements; evaluates automation equipment and layouts; performs cost-benefit and data analysis; and mentors junior engineers. It requires a mechanical, industrial, or similar engineering degree, extensive industrial automation experience, and expertise with conveyance systems, PLCs, WCS/WES, WMS, SQL, data visualization, and AutoCAD. The position offers health and wellness benefits, tuition reimbursement, equity, and pay ranging from $127,890 to $170,000 depending on location.
