Description
The role is a hands-on engineering lead responsible for setting technical direction, owning code quality, and building payment-critical backend services on a modern Java and Spring Boot stack. The lead will design and build APIs, ensure correctness, reliability, and security, mentor backend engineers, and collaborate with architecture and product. The position requires at least 8 years of Java backend experience, hands-on payments or fintech experience, experience with a payment processor or gateway, microservices and REST API expertise, Kubernetes and CI/CD delivery, and active use of AI coding tools.
