Description
The Senior Bioinformatics Engineer will design, architect, optimize, and scale clinical-grade next-generation sequencing bioinformatics pipelines for genomic data processing, including whole-genome, whole-exome, targeted panels, RNA-Seq, liquid biopsy, and somatic variant calling. The role leads containerized, cloud-native workflow development, CI/CD, software validation, performance optimization, and integration with LIMS and clinical databases, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with pathologists, scientists, and software engineers. It is a hybrid position based in Baltimore, Secaucus, Marlborough, or Lewisville, with travel required.
