Leica Biosystems is hiring a Lead Biostatistician for its global Bioinformatics team in Bengaluru, India. The role provides statistical support for clinical study design, analysis, reporting, and regulatory submissions for qualitative and quantitative in vitro diagnostic molecular assays across blood biomarkers, hematology, infectious disease, and oncology. Responsibilities include multiplex biomarker signature development, sample-size estimation, protocol and analysis-plan authoring, standard operating procedure review, training, audit support, and analytical study support. The position reports to the Senior Director, Biostatistics and requires a relevant degree plus 6–10+ years of experience, IVD or regulated clinical-study experience, knowledge of FDA and CE-IVDR guidelines, and proficiency with SAS, Excel, Minitab, Python, or R.
