Description
The Lead Carpenter performs skilled rough and finish carpentry, including building, installing, repairing, and maintaining doors, windows, framing, cabinetry, flooring, ceilings, trim, furniture, and building structures. The role also handles general facility maintenance, operates hand and power tools, leads and schedules carpenter teams, documents project progress, coordinates with customers and project managers, and may include limited plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, painting, and wall-covering work. Applicants need recent related experience or equivalent education, knowledge of carpentry techniques and safety practices, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
