Description
Eaton is hiring a Lead Cell Development Engineer in Shanghai to lead the development of cylindrical EDLC supercapacitor cells. The role owns the full cell development lifecycle, from laboratory prototyping and cell construction through process development, equipment selection, pilot-line execution, manufacturing transfer, and production scale-up. Responsibilities include developing assembly methods, optimizing process parameters, qualifying manufacturing equipment, supporting technology transfer, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating with global suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical discipline and at least eight years of experience in manufacturing, process development, electrochemical device development, precision assembly, or related industries.
