ConsultNet is seeking a contract Lead Information Security Engineer in the DC Metro Area to provide technical leadership across enterprise security risk management, security controls, compliance, and security architecture. The role will assess and prioritize risks, define security requirements and controls, design and monitor security solutions, support governance and regulatory compliance, evaluate security technologies, and mentor junior security professionals. Candidates need extensive information security or cybersecurity experience, knowledge of risk assessment, architecture, control design, governance, and compliance, and the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate across technical and business teams.
