Description
The Coding Supervisor will provide primary support to the Coding Supervisor and assist in supervising coding, abstracting, and reimbursement activities across Baptist Health facilities. The role ensures compliance with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and coding conventions; monitors reports, workflows, work volume, and distribution; reconciles reports; provides coding training; conducts coding research; and ensures accurate and timely processing under state and federal regulations. The position requires an associate degree, AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist certification, and at least five years of inpatient, outpatient surgery, ancillary, or emergency room coding experience in a large healthcare institution, with RHIA or RHIT experience preferred. The salary range is $31.20 to $40.56 depending on years of experience.
