Description
GS Construction is hiring a full-time Lead Construction Surveyor to lead geomatics and layout activities for underground utility and land development projects. The role interprets engineering drawings, coordinates survey work with superintendents, foremen, and crews, operates GPS and total station equipment, maintains field records, and resolves layout challenges while following safety and compliance requirements. Candidates need 5–7 years of geomatics or survey experience in civil or industrial construction, proficiency with Trimble equipment and software, and the ability to work independently in an active outdoor construction environment.
