Description
The Lead Controls Engineer will provide technical direction and expert support for industrial controls and automation systems in a manufacturing environment. The role oversees technology-based processes, develops and manages technical environments, supports IT service-level agreements, recommends and implements cost-effective solutions, and coordinates with departments, vendors, and customers. Responsibilities include PLC programming and troubleshooting, SCADA and HMI integration, industrial networking, material-handling equipment, scanning and vision systems, and controls modernization. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical area or equivalent experience, at least six years of information systems or related experience with programming, and strong PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial communications skills.
