PMD is hiring a Lead Controls Hardware Design Engineer for an on-site role in Victor, New York. The position leads controls hardware design for turnkey custom automation equipment, develops control architectures, schematics, enclosures, wiring, and bills of materials, and collaborates with mechanical, controls build, software, and commissioning teams. The role also trains junior engineers, provides technical direction, reviews engineering work, and supports debugging. Candidates need a BS in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of experience including 5+ years of technical supervision, and expertise with AutoCAD Electrical, industrial standards, power and safety calculations, and fluid power.
