Description
The Field Services Technician manages and performs on-site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, upgrades, and emergency service for power generation equipment at customer facilities. The role also provides technical instruction, prepares reports, coordinates materials and contractors, supports team members, and requires extensive travel, holidays, weekends, and overtime. Candidates need a technical or university degree or qualifying experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of field services experience; the posting also specifies seven or more years of field services or power generation equipment maintenance experience, level III training, electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills, and English proficiency.
