Description
The Dietary Services Manager oversees food preparation, menu planning, dietary orders, pricing, staffing, schedules, training, and compliance for a dietary department serving young people in a Job Corps program. The role coordinates with dietary consultants, RN supervisors, physicians, administrators, and staff; develops policies and procedures; ensures adequate food and supply coverage; and supports health, safety, infection control, and other committees. One year of supervisory experience and one year of cafeteria or institutional kitchen experience are preferred, along with a high school diploma or GED and some college coursework or vocational school.
