Description
The Lead CT Technologist coordinates the operational and technical function of the CT department, schedules and triages procedures, supports staff assignments and relief coverage, trains and evaluates employees, and maintains CT equipment, imaging protocols, radiation safety, infection control, quality assurance, inventory, and charge-reconciliation processes. The role also collaborates with radiologists, physicists, service providers, and physicians on imaging techniques, Cerner charge capture, and process improvement. It requires at least three years of clinical CT experience, ARRT CT certification, a New York State radiological license, a New York State injection license, and BLS certification.
