The role involves designing and operating Kafka-based and other event-driven architectures, CDC and stream-processing systems, schema governance, monitoring, automation, and lakehouse or cloud warehouse integrations, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with architects and stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience, 6–8+ years of enterprise-scale data engineering experience, and expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, Kafka, AWS, CDC tools, and related technologies.
