The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, including architectural decision-making, standards, mentoring, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration across investment and business teams. It requires strong data engineering, cloud, AI/LLM, database, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code expertise, along with 10+ years of relevant experience and 2–4+ years leading projects or teams. The position is hybrid and based in the Chicago office, with a base salary of $180,000–$200,000.
