Description
Honeywell is hiring a Lead Data Engineer for its Industrial AI & Data Platforms team in Atlanta, Georgia, on a hybrid schedule. The role owns end-to-end data foundations for physical AI at scale, including medallion lakehouse architectures, real-time IoT telemetry pipelines, production GenAI and RAG workflows, vector stores, data governance, CI/CD, and MLOps. The engineer will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with data scientists, product owners, and architects. The position requires at least 8 years of data engineering experience, including 2 years in a lead or senior role, along with expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, Kafka or Azure Event Hub, cloud data architecture, data modeling, GenAI pipelines, and CI/CD.
