Mastercard is hiring a Lead Data Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to lead the technical direction of data-platform engineering. The role sets standards and best practices for Databricks, Spark, Python, PySpark, and dbt; leads architecture, CI/CD, DataOps, observability, deployment, migration, and upgrade strategy; and mentors engineers while partnering with product and stakeholders. It requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field, at least 8 years of data engineering experience including technical leadership, and expert hands-on experience with the listed technologies.
