College Board is hiring a fully remote Lead Data Platform Engineer, External Data Analytics, to own the architecture, reliability, and evolution of a shared enterprise data and analytics platform. The role leads hands-on streaming and batch data pipelines, curated analytical data products, infrastructure-as-code, data contracts, security, observability, incident response, and responsible AI-assisted coding, while mentoring engineers and setting technical standards. Candidates need strong TypeScript or JavaScript and AWS CDK experience, production cloud data-platform ownership, analytical data modeling, scalability and reliability expertise, and experience with data governance and engineering leadership. The position offers a hiring range of $185,000–$200,000 and may be hybrid for candidates near College Board offices.
