Aker Systems is hiring a Lead Data Platform Engineer to lead the development of backend services for a government client. The role involves designing, developing, documenting, and deploying scalable and highly available services; participating in user-story estimation; building frequent releases; collaborating with cross-functional teams; maintaining continuous deployment pipelines; and owning operational responsibility for services. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Java and Spring Boot expertise, Kafka, Scala, Spark, cloud and database experience, and enhanced DV Security Clearance.
