ParetoHealth is hiring a Lead Data Scientist to independently own applied AI and data science workstreams for healthcare underwriting and pricing. The role covers problem framing, feature engineering, model development, validation, production deployment, monitoring, explainability, governance, and business-impact measurement, while partnering with business, AI, engineering, and analytics teams. Candidates need a quantitative degree, at least 8 years of relevant data science or actuarial analytics experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and production MLOps experience on AWS or a comparable platform.
