FERCHAU Rosenheim is hiring a Lead Development Engineer – Mechanical to independently develop and design complex machines, tools, and subsystems for the international rail sector and lead development projects through product creation. The role includes technical concept approval, component sizing and calculation, system analysis, product optimization, interface collaboration, and development-process improvement. Candidates need a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field, several years of mechanical development experience, documented project leadership experience, knowledge of mechanical systems and related engineering fields, and strong German and English skills. The position offers an open-ended contract, above-tariff compensation, flexible working hours, and remote-work options.
