Description
Aker Systems is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the development and implementation of secure cloud environments for data and batch/real-time analytical platforms serving public and private sector clients. The role covers cloud infrastructure and application deployment, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code, test automation, environment maintenance, production incident resolution, application maintenance, gap analysis, contingency planning, documentation, and team mentoring. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or greater, at least five years of DevOps experience, and proficiency with AWS, Linux and Windows, source control, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, databases, event streaming, scripting, and people leadership. A UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance is required, with support for applicants who have lived and worked in the UK for at least five years.
