Hammer & NER is hiring a full-time, non-exempt Lead Direct Support Professional in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The role supports the Program Manager with administrative tasks and provides daily care, life-skills support, and supervision for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities living in Hammer & NER homes and apartments. Responsibilities include scheduling medical appointments, training direct support staff, maintaining a clean and safe environment, administering medications, communicating via workplace systems, and ensuring compliance with training, confidentiality, and mandated reporting requirements. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, a valid driver’s license, the ability to perform physically demanding care tasks, and availability for flexible hours including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
