Description
Cipher Mining is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead and coordinate electrical design across a portfolio of fast-track hyperscale data center projects. The role covers utility interconnections, substations, power distribution, transformers, switchgear, protection, backup power, grounding, and life-safety interfaces; reviews drawings, specifications, calculations, and protection coordination; coordinates with contractors, utilities, vendors, and customers; manages electrical Engineers of Record and specialty consultants; and supports commissioning, energization, reliability, and design standards. The position requires 12–18+ years of experience in electrical engineering, mission-critical or industrial power systems, data center design and operations, and high-density power environments, with a PE license and relevant data center experience strongly preferred.
