Description
Worley is hiring a full-time Lead Electrical Engineer in Oakville, Ontario, to provide technical leadership and deliver electrical engineering solutions for mining and metals projects. The role covers high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems, substations, protection and control systems, SCADA, power studies, and related deliverables across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup phases. The engineer will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage project interfaces, resolve complex technical challenges, mentor less experienced engineers, and support proposal development and project planning. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience, typically 10 years of progressively responsible experience in mining, minerals, metals, or related industrial sectors, and a P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration with a Canadian engineering regulatory body is preferred.
