L3Harris is hiring a Lead, Electrical Engineering - MEMS Subject Matter Expert to lead advanced MEMS, silicon photonics, and photonic integrated circuit technology development, drive innovation and IRAD projects, pursue new defense business opportunities, and provide technical leadership for the Herndon, Virginia Nanosystems team. The role includes MEMS device design, modeling, fabrication, cleanroom operations, characterization, customer engagement, and team mentoring, with a 9/80 schedule and potential Palm Bay, Florida work with significant travel to Herndon. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least nine years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience and education, plus the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. The stated Virginia salary range is $127,500 to $236,500, with health and disability insurance and other benefits.
