SpaceX is hiring a Lead Electronic Development Engineer for its Starlink Gateways team. The role leads 3–5 engineers in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and bringing up highly reliable mixed-signal electronics for gateway ground-station antenna hardware, owning the hardware life cycle from electrical architecture and component selection through production and field reliability. The engineer collaborates across antenna/RF, software, mechanical, networking, thermal, manufacturing, and production-test teams, develops direct reports, and may travel up to 20% to Hawthorne, California and Redmond, Washington. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, with ITAR eligibility requirements.
